By Our Staff Reporter
KURNOOL, NOV. 9. The former mayor, B. Ananthaiah, played the role of a Good Samaritan here on Tuesday by presenting a piece of cloth to a mentally retarded woman. Mr. Ananthaiah and his supporters who were riding a rickshaw to protest against the hike in the prices of petroleum products saw the woman, who was wearing tattered clothes. Mr. Ananthaiah got off the rickshaw and covered her body with a shawl he was wearing. Mr. Ananthaiah said he would admit her to the general hospital for treatment.
