NEW DELHI, NOV. 9. The Delhi Transco Limited today said it would be disbursing Government Provident Fund accumulations of 6,156 employees of the private power distribution companies -- NDPL and BSES -- who had opted for voluntary retirement schemes. All the disbursals, to be done on November 10 and 11, will be made from the DVB Employees Terminal Benefits Fund 2002 constituted at the time of unbundling of the Delhi Vidyut Board for the benefit of pensioners and to clear dues of retiring employees. In a statement issued here, Transco has urged all employees who had opted for SVRS and VSS to carry their relevant identification papers like electoral card or medical card for identification. For erstwhile NDPL employees, the venue will be Community Centre, NDPL Residential Colony, at Shalimar Bagh. On the first day, 900 cases would be settled while disbursal to 898 people would be done on the next day. Similarly, for former BSES Rajdhani employees, the venue will be BSES Residential Colony, Pankha Road, Janakpuri. A total of 2,488 cases will be taken up here during the two days. While for the BSES Yamuna employees, the venue will be BSES Residential Colony, Mandavali, Patparganj where a total of 1,870 cases will be settled.
