Amby Valley Tour heads eastwards

KOLKATA, NOV. 10. The best of Indian golfing talent will travel to East for the Amby Valley PGAI Tour's 2004-05 season.

The battle will begin with the Tata Open, the seventh leg, to be played at Jamshedpur.

The four-event Eastern swing offers Rs 45 lakh in prize money, taking the current value of the tour to Rs 1.05 crore.

The swing commences with the Rs 15 lakh Tata Open to be played at the Beldhi & Golmuri Golf Courses from November 15 to 19. The next stop will be at the Digboi Club Golf Links for the Rs 10-lakh Servo Masters from November 23 to 27. The Rs 10 lakh Patna Open will be held at the Patna Golf Course from December 1 to 5.

The tour moves to its first international leg, the Surya Nepal Masters, to be played at Gokarna Forest Golf Resort (Nepal) from December 8 to 12. The tenth leg, offering Rs 10 lakh (INR) as prize money, will be the closing event of year.
