NEW DELHI, NOV. 10. Delhi Metro employees today listened to an inspiring talk by Swami Bhoomananda Tirthaji on "Performing Excellence Through Karma Yoga" in which the well-known saint and exponent of Vedanta disseminated the eternal wisdom contained in the Vedas and holy scriptures. Speaking at the discourse, which was held at the Sri Satya Sai Auditorium on Lodhi Road and also attended by the Managing Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, E. Sreedharan, besides site engineers, train operators, station controllers and administrative personnel, Swami Bhoomananda stressed the need for doing one's job well. He told the gathering that "every moment of the life, you are being carried irresistibly towards fulfilment and everything that comes to you does so to improve, correct or alter your nature, thereby taking you nearer to perfection which is extremely relevant for the Metro keeping in view the need for excellence in its work which has made it one of the most modern metros in the world".
