THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, NOV.10. The Legislature Committee on Welfare of Women, Children and the Physically Challenged will hold its sitting at the Collectorate Conference Hall here on November 17. Those desirous of submitting their grievances directly to the Committee should report by 10.30 on that day.

Diabetes

The SP Fort Hospital is organising a diabetes clinic on November 14, on the occasion of World Diabetes Day. An awareness programme on diabetes will be held at the hospital from 9 a.m. and 150 persons who register their names beforehand can undergo a series of tests, including Doppler study and neuropathy test, for free. A Diabetes Club is also being inaugurated on the day, which will keep the members updated on the latest in the control and management of the disease.

Balbhavan classes

The holiday classes to be conducted by the Kerala State Jawahar Balbhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, will start on November 20. The admission to these classes is to be held from November 15.

Holiday

The British Library, Thiruvananthapuram, will remain closed on November 11, on account of Deepavali.
