JAMMU, NOV. 12. People from Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan are expected to participate in an `Aman (peace) mela' being organised in Jalandhar (Punjab) by the Indian chapter of Association of People of Asia (APA) on November 23-24. A similar mela would be held in Lahore on November 26-27, which is being organised by Pakistan chapter of APA, the state president of Akhil Bharat Rachanatmak Samaj (ABRS), S P Verma said here. The APA is a sister concern of ABRS and both are jointly organising these fairs, Mr. Verma said. Both Lahore and Jalandhar are hosting the fair to expedite people-to-people contact between India and Pakistan, Mr. Verma said. --PTI
