CHITTOOR, NOV. 12. Rajiv Yuva Sakthi scheme will be implemented this year with an amount of Rs. 14.52 crores to help the unemployed youths in the district. The district Collector, S. S. Rawat said that under this scheme financial assistance would be given to 2,420 groups and 1,452 individuals. Of the amount, Rs. 10.65 crores would be bank loan, Rs. 2.45 crores subsidy and Rs. 1.45 crores, beneficiaries' share. Loans would be given to individuals, groups and for starting petty business. Each individual would be given a maximum loan of Rs. one lakh of which 60 per cent bank loan, 30 per cent subsidy and 10 per cent beneficiary share. Groups comprising five or more members would be given a maximum of Rs. 3 lakhs under the scheme. Eligible youths can get applications from the Setwin office. The scheme will be launched by the Agricultural Minister, Raghuveera Reddy, on November 19.
