National child award for six from State

HYDERABAD,
NOV. 12.
Six children from the State figure in the list of the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement for 2002 and 2003. They are J. V. Sai Tejeswini of Cuddapah for her achievement in Kuchipudi,painting and vocal music; Dasari Sai Srinivas and Veenam Jyothi Surekha of Vijayawada (both for swimming), K. G. S. Apuroop of Visakhapatnam (general knowledge and memory power); S. Divya Tej of Hyderabad, who completed M. Sc at the age of 11 years, and T. Prathyusha of Karimnagar (Karate and Kung Fu).
The awards would be presented to them in the presence of the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, at a function to be held in New Delhi on November 14.
