NEG Micon's 1.65 MW wind turbine

AHMEDABAD: NEG Micon (India), a 100 per cent subsidiary of NEG Micon A/s Denmark and the preferred partner for renewable energy systems, has launched the largest, tallest and the most powerful wind turbine in India for the Gujarat market. The first NM 82 / 1650 turbine has been commissioned at Surajbari of the Kutch district. "The turbine is suitable for low and medium wind regimes, which are predominantly found in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and parts of Tamil Nadu," said Ramesh Kymal, Managing Director of the company.
