ISLAMABAD, NOV. 13. Pakistan tonight welcomed the reported statement by the External Affairs Minister, Natwar Singh, that India is ready to consider Pakistan's recent proposal to settle the Kashmir dispute. The Foreign Office spokesman, Masood Khan, said Mr. Singh's statement, which followed the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh's announcement on troop reduction in Jammu and Kashmir, reflected a ``positive and constructive approach'' towards the resolution of the dispute. Mr. Khan said Pakistan was all for engagement and a result-oriented dialogue to settle all outstanding issues. ` `We must explore ways to settle our differences through peaceful means.'' He said: ``Reciprocity is the name of the game and given political will on both sides and matching flexibility, the two countries can meet this historic challenge.''
