Grievances day

Coimbatore, Nov. 13. The Superintending Engineer, Coimbatore North, TNEB, will conduct a grievances day meeting at 11a.m. on November 17 at the Executive Engineer's Office at Mettupalayam. The Superintending Engineer, Coimbatore Central, TNEB, will conduct a grievances day meeting at 11a.m. on the same day at the Executive Engineer's Office at the Town Hall.

Training

The Coimbatore Productivity Council is organising a half-day programme on `Employee State Insurance Act 1948' on November 20 at the Council's Conference Hall. The programme is specially designed for those handling ESI matters. The last date for registration is November 18. Awareness programme

The Institute of Neuro Sciences, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore, is organising an

Epilepsy Awareness Programme on November 17 at Smt. Velumaniammal Memorial Hall (Ist Floor).

Painting expo

Divyodaya, an inter-religious centre, and Josco Group, are organising a painting exhibition on November 15 at their premises on Geetha Hall Road. The exhibition will be open for the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all days till November 18. The exhibition will showcase 400 paintings selected from the Children's Day painting competition held at the centre recently.

Coaching class

Shreemathi Vijayalakshmi Palanisami Charitable Trust will be conducting coaching classes for the IAS /IPS and Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission aspirants from December 1 onwards.

Exchange counter

An exclusive counter will be set up by the State Bank of India, Ganapathy branch at 285, Sathy Road on November 14 between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for exchange of soiled and mutilated notes and also distribution of coins to customers, a release from the bank said.
