S.L.Padmaja shocked top-seeded J.Ramakrishna in the third round in just 30 moves of the S.R.Datla memorial prize money chess tournament being organised by Dronacharya Chess Academy here on Sunday.
The results: Third round: J.Ramakrishna (2) lost to S.L.Padmaja (3); J.Malleswara Rao (3) bt K.Muralinath (2); D.Tejasri (2.5) drew with Ramana (2.5); B.Gopal Reddy (2) lost to P.Praveen Prasad (3): P.V.V.Seshu (3) bt M.R.P.Varma (2); M.Subash Kumar (2) lost to V.Jagadish (3); N. Ravikanth (3) bt S.Chiman Prakash (2); Abdul Aziz (2) lost to G.V.Srinivas (3); K.Krishnakanth (2) lost to A.Kumar (3); J.Subrahmanyam (3) bt V.Bhavana (2).
