HYDERABAD, NOV. 14. The 297th Guru Granth Saheb Day was celebrated with religious fervour and devotion by the Sikh community in the city here on Sunday. The major attraction of the celebrations, the Vishaal Deewan (mass congregation) was held at the Quli Qutub Shah stadium under the aegis of the Prabhandak Committee Gurudwara Saheb Charmahal where over 10,000 Sikh devotees offered prayers to the Guru Granth Saheb. The congregation, which began at 10.30 a.m went on till 4.30 p.m. and was marked by the recitation of the holy Gurbani keertans by renowned Ragi Jathas who came from different parts of the country. The traditional Guru-ka-langar was served to the devotees. A holy procession, Nagar Keertan, will be taken out from the Gurudwara Saheb Charmahal, Petlaburj on Monday at 5 p.m.
