Jagadish is champion

HYDERABAD, NOV. 15. V. Jagadish emerged champion in the 12th annual Tatipalli Gopalakrishna memorial Open prize money chess tournament with 7.5 points after the final round at Hyderabad YMCA here.

Despite ending up level with P.V.V. Seshu (7.5 points), Jagadish clinched the title by virtue of better progressive score.
