KOLLAM, NOV. 15. The pro-Babu Divakaran faction leaders in the RSP(B) K.C. Vamadevan and T.M. Prabha alleged here today that the Thamarakshan faction of the party was bent upon taking the RSP(B) into the LDF camp despite the fact that the LDF was not keen on it. At a press conference here today, they said the State conference of the RSP(B) at Thiruvananthapuram on November 26 and 27 called by the Babu Divakaran faction would elect the new State secretary of the party. Mr. Vamadevan and Mr. Prabha, the president and general secretary respectively of the United Trade Union Congress(Bolshevik), said that though there are group wrangles within the RSP(B), the UTUC(B) is free from them. Piqued about this, a gang from the Thamarakshan group attacked the UTUC(B) leaders who were holding a meeting at Chavara on November 11. They alleged that the attack was at the instance of the Chavara MLA, Shibu Baby John.
