`Chandy must give up Home'
By Our Special Correspondent
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
NOV. 15.
The Janatal Dal (Secular) State president, M.P. Veerendrakumar, MP, has asked the Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, to give up the Home portfolio since the department had lost its credibility under his leadership.
In a statement here today, Mr. Veerendrakumar said the Home Department should own up moral responsibility for the death of the girl who had been allegedly sexually exploited when she was a minor.
He said the probe into the case would not be free and fair as long as Mr. Chandy held the Home portfolio.
