MANGALORE, NOV. 16. Ramakrishna Education institutions, managed by Bunts Alias Nadavara Mathr Sangha here, is set for yearlong silver jubilee celebrations. Founded by Srinath Hegde, Aerya Laxminarayana Alva, and Narayana Alva, stalwarts of the Bunt community, in 1980 with four teachers and a dozen students as a primary school, it has since grown into a leading centre for education. Nitte Shashidhar Shetty, correspondent of the institution, told presspersons that the management had opened a computer laboratory to coincide with silver jubilee celebrations recently. The management had decided to honour past conveners of the institutions, retired teachers and rank holders at a function on Saturday, he said.
