Bharti ADR issue

KOLKATA, NOV. 16. The board of Bharti Tele-Ventures is yet to finalise the timing of the secondary offering of equity in the U.S. capital market, though shareholders had given it the seal of approval.

The Joint Managing Director of Bharti Tele-Ventures, Rajan Bharti Mittal, told reporters here today that three foreign investors, Warburg Pincus, AIF and AIG, were planning to shed its holding in the company through the ADR issue. Asked if the issue would be made this fiscal or next, he said the timing had not been fixed.
