VISAKHAPATNAM, NOV. 16. The Kapu Yuvasena has demanded that the State Government make public the report of the Puttuswamy Commission on the reorganisation of Backward Classes. Its president, Tadiwaka Ramesh Naidu, in a statement here on Tuesday, regretted that the term of the commission (constituted in 1994) was being extended periodically but its report had not been made public. He wanted the Government to keep aside vote bank politics and reconsider the prevailing conditions on humanitarian grounds, since a majority of the Kapus continued to suffer under poor economic conditions which affected the education of their children.
