Mont Fort, Modern in semifinals

NEW DELHI, NOV. 16. Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and Mont Fort School made it to the semifinals in the senior girls section of the Hansraj Prabhakar memorial basketball tournament with victories over Carmel Convent and Chinmaya School respectively here on Tuesday.

The results:

Senior girls: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 52 (Amrita 26) bt Carmel Convent 23 (Shruti 10); Mont Fort School 54 (Deepali 19, Prachi 15) bt Chinmaya School 31 (Vinita 18).

Senior boys: St Michael's School 57 (Chetan 23) bt Chinmaya School 55 (Malli 15, Ajay Nehra 14, Tory 11); Sachdeva Public School, Pitam Pura, 61 (Nitin Heda 22, Karan 15, Mohit 11) bt Oxford School 2.

Mini boys: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 33 (Sahil 10) bt Sachdeva Public School, Pitam Pura 23; Mont Fort School 36 (Kshitij 12, Anmol 10) bt Oxford School 28; Don Bosco School 24 bt Venkateshwara School 13.

Mini girls: Modern Schoo, Barakhamba Road, 20 bt Sachdeva Public School, Pitam Pura 11; Mont Fort School 27 bt Oxford School 17; Bal Bharati School 13 bt Venkateshwara School 9; Carmel Convent 17 bt Bal Bharati School, Pitam Pura, 12.
