Tarapore-Kapila duo consolidates position

MUMBAI, NOV. 16. Farokh Tarapore and Vikas Kapila consolidated their position in the fourth National 420 class sailing championship, winning the third race and finishing second in the fourth at the H20 Water Sports Complex here on Tuesday. Pallavi Naik and Rohini Rau dominated the girls and women's events.

The results:

Men: Race 3: 1. Farokh Tarapore/Vikas Kapila, 2. Ayaz Shaikh/Sandeep Jain, 3. Sanjeev Chauhan/R.S. Dhulaji; Race 4: 1. Ayaz Shaikh/Sandeep Jain, 2. Farokh Tarapore/Vikas Kapila.

Girls and women: Race 3: 1. Pallavi Naik/Rohini Rau, 2. Neeta Angre/Alice Fernandes; Race 4: 1. Pallavi Naik/Rohini Rau, 2. Neeta Angre/Alice Fernandes. — Our Special Correspondent
