Temperature
TIRUCHI, NOV.16. The city today registered a maximum temperature of 30.6 degree Celsius and a minimum of 22.9 degree Celsius.
Demonstration
Police sources here said around 85 persons including three women took part in the demonstration.
Arrest hailed
In a statement, its district president, S.T. Rajendran, thanked the Chief Minister for facilitating an impartial investigation into the charges of murder against the Swamigal.
Plea to repair roads
In a statement, its secretary, G. Renganathan, asked the civic body to ensure that sewage water did not mix with drinking water. At a recent meeting, several resolutions, including a plea for subways near the Central Bus Stand and Main Guard Gate, which had heavy traffic, were adopted.
