Around the City

Partly cloudy sky forecast

The sky will be partly cloudy on Wednesday, according to the forecast for Bangalore. The minimum temperatures will be around 17 degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 27.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.3 degrees Celsius. The humidity was 54 per cent.

The airport recorded a maximum temperature of 27.2 degrees Celsius and minimum of 16.7 degrees Celsius. The humidity was 54 per cent.

HR conclave

The DC School of Management and Technology is conducting a human resources conclave as well as training workshop from Friday to Sunday. The conclave will focus on contemporary HR issues as well as experimental learning methods. Eminent HR managers from India and abroad will address the participants at the conclave. Workshop

Recycling

The Karnataka State Human Rights Trust is collecting used articles such as tailoring machines, typewriters, tape recorders, beds and radios that are to be discarded, to repair and distribute them among old-age homes and the poor.

The International Fashion Trends and Technology Institute is organising a free three-week workshop on fashion design and pattern making.

Conference

The Traffic Engineers and Safety Trainers (TEST) will organise a two-day national conference on "Traffic engineering and road sSafety in India — problems and prospects" from November 26 at the Institution of Engineers.
