CHANDIGARH, NOV.18. The Haryana Board of School Education has decided to introduce the CBSE syllabus, 2004, for its matric and senior secondary annual examinations, 2005. A spokesman of the Board said that all the failed candidates or those who wanted to improve their position in all the subjects would have to take examination as per the new syllabus -- CBSE, 2004. However, the candidates appearing in the supplementary examinations, 2005, or who sought to improve their position in one or two subjects, would be allowed to take their examinations as per the old syllabus, he added. He said the Board had also got printed its new syllabus which was available for sale at the Grievances Redressal Cell of the Board.
