Bhavani clinches sabre crown

CHENNAI, NOV. 18. C. Bhavani Devi of Tamil Nadu beat Punjab's Kamaljit 15-12 in the girls' sabre final of the National sub-junior fencing championship being held here.

Epee:

Boys: Dudhare Ajinkya (Maharashtra) bt S. Roshan (Manipur) 15-13; Girls: Kavneet Kaur (Punjab) bt T.H. Kavitha Devi (Assam) 13-9.

Foil:

Boys: H. Ravikumar (Manipur) bt S. Inder (Manipur) 10-9; Girls: S. Bindu Devi (Manipur) bt Kavitha Devi 15-6.

Sabre: Boys: K. Sandeep (AP) bt Prince Mehra (Punjab) 15-12; Girls: C. Bhavani Devi (Tamil Nadu) bt Kamaljit (Punjab) 15-12.
