NEW DELHI, NOV. 18 . The 20th India International Hot Air Balloon Mela will be inaugurated by the Delhi Lieutenant-Governor, B.L. Joshi, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on November 20. According to Honorary Secretary of the Ballooning Club of India, Vishwa Bandhu Gupta, seven foreign teams, including those from the United States, Switzerland, France and Pakistan, are participating in the event. A special balloon competition, besides on-the-spot painting competition will also be organised at the venue. Children in the 5 to 17 years age group can participate in the painting competition. While the children will have to bring their own painting material, the Ballooning Club of India will provide the drawing sheets.
