Wesley in final
HYDERABAD,
NOV. 18.
Wesley College plays Sardar Patel College (Secunderabad) in the final of the Idea Cup inter-degree college cricket tournament at the Gymkhana Grounds on November 20. In the semifinals on Thursday, Wesley defeated Nizam College and SP College defeated Bhavan's College.
The scores:
Idea Cup: Semifinals: Nizam College 85 (Yogesh Anand five for 29) lost to Wesley DC 86 for five (Dhanunjay four for nine).
SP College, Sec'bad, 212 for nine (C.T. Sanjay 75) bt Bhavan's College 181 (Anoop Pai 47, Kaushik Reddy 51, Yesudas four for 48).
Sporting XI 118 lost to Youngsters 121 for two (S.R. Mahesh 54 not out, K.V. Srikanth 52 not out).
