AHMEDABAD, NOV. 18. Two more accused in the Godhra train carnage, including its mastermind, Salim Zarda,were arrested today. While Zarda was picked up from Broach by a special Gujarat police team following a tip-off, Farookh Abdul Sattar Gadi alias Bhuria Haji, an accomplice, was arrested on the outskirts of Godhra, where he was believed to be hiding. Zarda, allegedly involved in several inter-State theftsand smuggling, was held by the Rajasthan police. But he escaped on October 13 while on parole. He was nabbed and taken to Godhra. Zarda reportedly told police that he was approached by another accused in the Godhra incident while in the Sabarmati jail. He was advised to jump bail, collect fake passport and documents to flee to Pakistan. He had committed thefts and collected Rs. 4 lakhs and had gone to Broach in this regard.
