NEW DELHI, NOV. 18. The Chief of London Metropolitan Police, John Stevens, today met the Delhi Police Commissioner, K.K. Paul, and held discussions about the preparations in connection with the Commonwealth Games. Other senior officials from both the police forces were also present at the meeting. According to a Delhi police spokesperson, the meeting, which took place at police headquarters, lasted for about an hour. While Sir John was accompanied by five other police officials and also an official from the British High Commission in the meeting, Dr. Paul was accompanied by the three Special Commissioners. Apart from preparations for the Commonwealth Games, to be held in the Capital in 2010, the two police chiefs discussed issues like traffic management, cyber crimes, modern methods of crime detection and forensics.
