Cooperative movement centenary fete

KOCHI, NOV. 18. The Kanayannoor Circle Cooperative Union will organise the centenary celebrations of the Indian cooperative movement. Persons who have made significant contribution to the movement will be honoured on the occasion.

The former Minister, T. M. Jacob, will inaugurate the cooperative movement centenary seminar at the Mulanthuruthy Cooperative Bank auditorium on Friday at 1.30 p.m. The theme of the seminar will be `cooperative-based marketing, processing and consumption'. K. Babu, MLA, will preside.

The seminar will be followed by the cooperative movement centenary meeting. The former Minister, K.V. Thomas, will inaugurate the meeting, which will be presided by V.J. Poulose, MLA. K. Chandran Pillai, MP, will inaugurate a public meeting at 5.30 p.m.
