MADURAI, NOV.18. The city today registered a maximum temperature of 30.4 degree Celsius and a minimum of 22.8 degree Celsius.

Water level

The level in the Periyar dam stood at 130.5 feet with an inflow of 1,718 cusecs and a discharge of 900 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 69 feet with an inflow of 2,336 cusecs and a discharge of 2,387 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit was 8,387 mcft.

There was no significant rainfall in the Periyar-Vaigai basin.
