Thundershowers likely in South Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI, NOV. 19. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. The minimum temperature fell appreciably at many places over Rayalaseema, north Tamil Nadu, at a few places over south interior Karnataka, fell at a few places over north interior Karnataka, south Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably below normal at many places over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, below normal at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places over south interior Karnataka and appreciably above normal at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, above normal at one or two places over Telangana and north Kerala and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Arogyavaram recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Sunday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, north coastal Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and south Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, north Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

FORECAST For Chennai City And Neighbourhood (valid until Sunday morning): Partly cloudy. Minimum temperature will be around 20 degree Celsius.
