HYDERABAD, NOV. 19. The first EAMCET workshop to elicit views of all stakeholders regarding the present system and possible changes will be held on November 21 in the NTR University of Health Sciences Auditorium in Vijayawada. The first session from 9.30 to 10.30 am would be with students and parents, the second session from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm with teachers and their organisations and the third session from 12.30 to 1.30 pm with managements of educational institutions. After lunch, the first session would be from 2.30 to 3.30 pm with the media, the second session from 3.30 to 5 pm with professionals, professional bodies and members of the public and the last session from 5 to 6 pm with student organisations.
Panel appointed
Announcing this to the press here no Friday, K. C. Reddy, Chairman, AP State Council of Higher Education, said the APSCHE had appointed a high-power committee to submit a report on the matter after meeting and drawing feedback from all sections of society. He appealed to all stakeholders to participate in the workshop and give their views about improving the system. He said that a proforma was available on the website {lt}www.apsche.org{gt} to give feedback. The present workshop covered the districts of Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam. He announced that the next such workshop would be held in Warangal on November 28. Workshops would also be held in Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Anantapur and would conclude in Hyderabad. The entire process is expected to be completed by early January next year and the final report ready by March, 2005.
