VHP, BJP hold dharna

NAGAPATTINAM, NOV. 19. Cadres of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, the Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena staged a demonstration near the old bus stand here today condemning the arrest of the Kanchi Sankaracharya, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi. They submitted a memorandum to the Nagapattinam Collector, M.Veera Shanmugha Moni, seeking for the release of the Acharya.
