THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, NOV. 19. The Peroorkada police have arrested two persons suspected to be involved in several daytime burglaries in the city. The Circle Inspector, M. Radhakrishnan, identified the accused as Manikantan (21) and Mariappan (23). Both are residents of Kanyakumari district. The CI said the accused were suspected to be behind thefts in certain houses in Krishna Nagar colony in Vazhayila, Vanchiyoor Passport Office Lane and Kovalam Beach Road. He said efforts were on to recover the stolen articles, including cash and gold ornaments.
