Fresh tender notification issued

HYDERABAD, NOV. 19. The State Government has issued a fresh notification calling for tenders for irrigation projects in the State following the Court directive on Friday.

The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has taken a stand that instead of contesting the judgment calling for fresh tenders, inviting more competition would be better to curb delays in the execution of projects.

The deadline set for submission of pre-qualification tenders is December 2.
