SCR official's call to union leaders

HYDERABAD,
NOV. 19.
The General Manager, South Central Railway (SCR), T. Stanley Babu, urged members of the SCR Mazdoor Union (MU) to work together and uplift the conditions of the lesser privileged employees like those in Group `D' and Class Four categories.
He was addressing a gathering of the SCRMU, affiliated to the All-India Railwaymen's Federation (AIRF), in connection with its two-day 34th annual general council, which would begin on Saturday.
It was not just the job of senior officials to take care of the working/living conditions of lower level employees, he said. Union leaders/members too had the responsibility, he added.
