SALEM, NOV. 20 . A team of officials from Salem Distribution Division of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) who undertook surprise checks at the houses and business establishments in various divisions found out irregularities. According to release from the Additional Chief Engineer, N. Varadarajan, here today, a team led by its Executive Engineer, P. Tirugnanam, raided 1,266 houses and shops establishment in Attayampatti, Nainampatti, Veerapandi, Palampatti, Vennenthur Gold Road, Vettukadu, Chekkankadu and Erikarai. The loss was estimated at around Rs. 13,655.
