Job fair for the disabled

CHENNAI,
NOV. 20.
A one-day job opportunities fair for disabled people with graduate, post graduate and professional qualifications will be organised on December 19 by Ability Foundation, Lions Club of Padi Shenoy Nagar and Lason India, a leading BPO.
According to the organizers "Employability 2004" aims to sensitise the corporate world to the potential of the disabled.
The director of Ability Foundation, Jayshree Ravindran, said, "For the disabled, employment is just not for livelihood, it is for self-esteem and self-confidence." S. Sankaran of the Lions Club said four leading companies had already registered and 10 others had shown interest in the fair that will be held at Vidyodaya Schools. For registration contact: 24452400
