Commissioning to be delayed
KOCHI,
NOV. 20.
The upcoming Naval Academy at Ezhimala is likely to take more than two years for completion going by the current pace of work. Even though more than 2,000 labourers are at work at different sites in the 2,300-acre compound on Mount Dilli, hardly 30 per cent of the work appears to have been completed. Briefing a news team at Ezhimala on Friday, the director-general of the project, Commodore Arun Nayyar, said that nearly 50 per cent of the work had been tendered.
