This Day That Age
Railway retiring rooms are to be thrown open for use by all classes of passengers who may wish to pay for them. Hitherto, they were divided into classes corresponding to travel classification on the Railways and lower class passengers were barred from retiring rooms intended for the upper classes. The Railway Board has requested the general managers of all the Railways to abolish retiring room classification with immediate effect.
