Treat him with respect

Sir, — While the Sangh Parivar seems to be demanding complete immunity for the Acharya, the Dravidian parties in Tamil Nadu want to treat him like a criminal.

Between the divide is the majority, which feels the Seer should be treated with respect and dignity.

Sir, — In Tamil Nadu, major political parties are vying with one another to establish their atheistic credentials by exploiting the issue. The Acharya has been convicted even before the evidence has been weighed by the courts of law.

Sir, — The Seer has already been pronounced guilty by some. They seem to know exactly whom he hired to kill Sankararaman, how much he `offered' them and so on. While there is no denying the facts, only God seems to know the facts.
