Kaustabha bags title

HYDERABAD, NOV. 21. Kaustabha of Brilliant Grammar School (Dilsukhnagar) won the title in the senior boys' category of the Children's Day chess championship here on November 19.

Brilliant GS (Dilsukhnagar) also won the Best School shield. St. Andrews HS (Saidabad) was second and St. Anthonys HS (Himayathnagar) was third.

The prize winners: Seniors: 1. Kaustabha (BGS Dilsukhnagar); 2. P. Manoj (St. Josephs HS Malakpet); 3. G. Vamshi Sai (K.V. Kanchanbagh).

Juniors: 1. V.F. Prateek (BGS Dilsukhnagar); 2. J. Mrudhula (Rosary Convent); 3. Anjaneyulu (Devnar School for Blind).

Sub juniors: 1. Sai Akshay (St. Anthonys HS, Himayathnagar); 2. Sridhar Chary (Devnar School for Blind); 3. P. Ruthwik Rao (St. Josephs HS Malakpet).
