Thundershowers likely in south T.N.

CHENNAI, NOV. 21. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Karaikal and Nagapattinam recorded a rainfall of 2 cm each. The minimum temperature rose at one or two places over interior Tamil Nadu and fell at one or two places over Kerala and changed a little elsewhere over the region. They were appreciably below normal at many places over Rayalaseema, at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal and south interior Karnataka, below normal at a few places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Karnataka, at one or two places over Telangana and coastal Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Arogyavaram and Ramagundam recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Tuesday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Pudukottai districts of north coastal Tamil Nadu, south Kerala and southern parts of Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, north Kerala and northern parts of Lakshadweep.
