CHENNAI NOV.21. The sky will partly cloudy on Monday and the minimum temperature will be around 22 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, Nungambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 30.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22.7. Meenambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 30.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22.5.

The humidity was 66 and 73 per cent.

Power theft

The Chennai Enforcement Division of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has detected power theft at a private company in Porur. The company had allegedly indulged in `direct tapping', causing a revenue loss of Rs. 70,205 to the board.

Elected

N.C. Ramanujachari was elected president of the Madras Theosophical Federation for 2004-2007. Krishna Ramdave and P. Pandian took over as vice-presidents. The other office-bearers were T.Gopal (secretary) and N. Muthuswamy (treasurer).
