This Day That Age
V. Mankad will be the captain of the Indian cricket team which will tour Pakistan during the next three months. Mankad's selection as captain was announced in Benaras on November 22 by the Maharajkumar of Vizianagaram, President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. The tour will begin on December 28 and conclude on March 5 next. The Maharajkumar has sent a telegram to Mankad congratulating him.
