ICAI chief joins international body

KOLKATA,
NOV. 22
. Sunil Goyal, President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), has been appointed to the 24-member board of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Mr. Goyal was earlier a member of the Small and Medium Practioners Task Force of IFAC. The IFAC is a global organisation of the accountancy profession with 158 member organisations from 188 countries. It has on its rolls 2.5 million accountants according to the release.
