Isolated rain likely in South T.N.

CHENNAI, NOV. 22. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Nagapattinam recorded in rainfall of 1 cm. The minimum temperature fell at one or two places over South interior Karnataka, Telangana, rose at one or two places over Kerala, South Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka, rest of south interior Karnataka and changed a little elsewhere over the region. They were appreciably below normal at a few places over Telangana, at one or two places over coastal and south interior Karnataka, north Tamil Nadu, below normal at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, north interior Karnataka, rest of south interior Karnataka, rest Telangana, above normal at one or two places over Kerala, south and interior Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Hyderabad Airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Wednesday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, south Kerala and southern parts of Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, north Kerala and northern parts of Lakshadweep.

FARMERS WEATHER BULLETIN FOR TAMIL NADU AND PONDICHERRY (valid until Wednesday morning): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely over south Tamil Nadu and mainly sunny weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: No large change.
