DINDI (NALGONDA DT.), NOV. 22. The new Governor, Sushil Kumar Shinde, has expressed his willingness to visit fluoride-affected village in Nalgonda district soon. Speaking to reporters at a guesthouse in Dindi during his brief half, he said it was everyone's responsibility to strive hard to get rid of the child labour system and sale of girl children. "We must create awareness among tribals to stop the sale of girl children," he said. The Collector, K.Vijayanand, informed the Governor that awareness meetings were held in Chandampet and Dindi, where the tribals are predominant. The Superintendent of Police, Harish K.Gupta, and the Miryalaguda Revenue Divisional Officer, K. Rajender, were also present.
