Award for export performance
COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore-based The Scientific Fertiliser Company Pvt. Ltd. has been selected for the "Certificate of Merit" award by the Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics Export Promotion Council (Chemexcil) for its export performance in 2001-02.
A release said that the company, which was involved in manufacturing and marketing agro chemicals, had entered the export front in 1994. The Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, EVKS Elangovan, would present the award at a function to be held on December 14 in Mumbai.
